Roberta Stamato (Brazil, 1970) is a visual artist and photographer based in Milan.
After many years working as a stylist in the fashion industry and seven years taking photography more seriously than just a hobby, in 2022, Roberta decided to dedicate herself to what had always been her true passion.
Her first step was to enter a competition, to do a postgraduate degree in Photo- graphy and Visual Design at NABA Milan, which she won.
Despite years of experience in fashion, her work ended up taking a different direc- tion, creating art based on photography for experimentation and questioning purposes.
Her path goes hand in hand with ecology and the boundary between what is eter- nal and what changes, she makes use of photography to reflect upon this relationship: durability X disappearance.
