Sève Favre was born in Switzerland. She studied art history at Fribourg University. She supplemented her degree with a secondary school teaching degree. In addition, from 2001 to 2016, Sève Favre continued her education by taking several seminars in the visual arts, notably at the Ceruleum school of art in Lausanne; which enabled her to teach art history and the visual arts in high school during fourteen years.
In 2005, she created her first modular artwork and during several years she maintained both careers simultaneously, teaching and private commission for artworks. For two years, Sève Favre has devoted herself exclusively to her artistic practice and exhibits in Switzerland, London, Bruxelles and Hongkong.
