Simo Liu is an Illustrator and multimedia artist based in Los Angeles. She studied Motion Graphics & Graphic Design from Calarts and Animation from USC.  She served as a Graphic Designer at Illumination Entertainment and worked on many cool projects such as Despicable Me 2, Minions and The Secret Life of Pets. She also worked as an animator at Tokyo Broadcasting Television in Japan. Currently, She is working as a freelancer for different clients, working on everything from Illustration, animation, motion and graphic design. Simo likes to explore and experiment, combining various ideas, styles and techniques to achieve aesthetics. Many of her works show some bright tones with some humor and wit inside. Her recent illustration has been shortlisted for the recent World Illustration Awards 2020 in the Editorial Category.
