I’m a photographer based in Paris, originally from Milan.
During the years I lived in Valencia, I started two long-term projects: one on the quarries around the city, and another on environmental portraits. Both are still ongoing and are being shot entirely on medium-format film.

I work mainly with portraits, between commissioned work and personal projects.
I often use medium-format film for my portraits, as it allows me to slow down and stay closer to the way I see. Even when covering events, I try to keep an intimate, almost documentary approach: I’m interested in the quiet moments, the pauses, the glances that happen between one gesture and the next.
