Scott Semler is a photographer from Atlanta, GA, living in Brooklyn, NY who received his BFA from Rochester Institute of Technology in Advertising Photography. There is rarely a moment when he is not working or tinkering with some idea.
Setting out to redefine the genre of photo illustration, Scott works tirelessly to create surreal and unique images showcasing objects through uncanny compositions, fueled by action and reaction. Through unexpected and beautiful pairings of objects, he constructs dioramas for products to live in emphasizing luxury, materialism and life. Paving the way through graphic color and bold light, the object lives as hero in the frame, holding the viewer in the image.
Whether working in a fully equipped studio or out of his apartment living room, he is able craft highly sophisticated images.
