What I try to do each time in my works is to stage a carnival. Eccentric, shocking, unpredictable. An unusual dancing parade, formed by bizarre and unique subjects, in which the colors represent my feelings and the lines my thoughts. An emotional chaos that rearranges.
I’ve always loved drawing on paper because it reminded me of an intimate and protected place, in which I could experience and find out the outside through my inner world. However I have not given up on constantly working on other supports and with new techniques.
What I really want to do by drawing is get out as much as I can of rusty mental and cultural patterns. I want to transmit vitality and instill power, unmask taboos and social clichés.
I want my art to be taken as a blatant punk anthem of one’s own personal inner revolution.
