Ur Creatur — Art born from movement

Ur Creatur is an illustration, art and movement project by Xavier Silvente. My drawings are born after dancing: free dance, 5Rhythms, ecstatic dance and contact improvisation. From that energy emerge fingers, eyes, bodies and creatures that celebrate our humanity.

I turn these illustrations into T-shirts, original artworks and creative workshops. I create art that can be worn, shared and inhabited: a reminder that we are human, sensitive and capable of imagining other possible worlds.

Based in Barcelona, I also facilitate workshops in collage, drawing, collective creation and artistic expression, using art to connect people and awaken imagination.
