Art is not what you see but what you make others see.

I started with the Encaustic iron technique as a teenager (I'm now 32) I grew up in Germany and then moved to South Africa for work where I ended up living for 6 years. During that time I not only met my amazing husband but also met wonderful and creative people like Marinda H, an amazing Artist and Jewelry designer. She taught me everything about Jewelry designing and creating unique pieces! That's when my passion for 'Jewelry making' started. We moved to Traverse City 6 years ago and I just love to explore and enjoy the beauty of Michigan with my family which inspired me to continue creating unique and unpredictable beeswax paintings. I love the mystery behind each painting and share the beauty of Encaustic Art with the world!
