Christopher Griffith

Futuristic design and architecture. Some great photos by Canadian, Christopher Griffith. I need to know who designed this car.

The car’s the BMW Mille Miglia concept from 2006. Fun stuff. Built on a Z4 platform.

  • Jolin

Man, i am curious where these buildings are. and yes WHO DID THAT CAR.

  • cheers ryan!

  • No problem. The curse of the former car designer: it never goes away.
Ander Warming was the principle designer (as on the Z4). Beautiful sketches.

    more pictures: http://www.autoblog.com/2006/05/11/bmw-unveils-mille-miglia-concept-coupe

But enough about the cars– Griffith’s one heck of a lucky photographer.

  • Jolin

man, that concept car is ILL. good look on the extra photos.. oh looked more into griffiths photos.. really well done for sure..

The only building i recognize is the 4th image, its the art musuem i think, i mean i think its an art musuem not so sure. But you can find that one in Rio De Janerio, Brazil.

I have been there, its just right next to sea, looks much better on that image tho 🙂

    Another great entry,

    I love this place

  • i believe the 2nd picture is the Fiera di Milano by Massimiliano Fuksas

  • The second image is the BMW-world in Munich, Germany, built by Coop. Himmelb(l)au.

  • you guys are good
5th picture is the TV and radio needle in pudong, shanghai
the 6th is a random russian style concrete market in kiev
and the last is the ‘building of a thousand assholes’ in hong kong

    mystery solved

Sneak Peek of Director Timothy Saccenti’s New Book

Visionary director and photographer Timothy Saccenti has a beautiful print project coming out! Made in collaboration with 3D illustrator Sam Rolfes and heavily inspired by model/actor Sui Nakashima (who Saccenti met on a project for Depeche Mode’s last album), SUI: A Journey in Self-Realization explores identity formation and transformation through a series of computer-generated manipulations.

The cinematic feel of the project is testament to Saccenti and Rolfes process, shooting thousands of frames in studio with Rolfes live scanning and manipulating on set/in real time. SUI consists of 35 unbound images that allow the reader to go through them in whatever way they choose. It also comes packaged in a reflective polychrome box encased in a vellum sheet, a deliberate decision on the part of CYMK Books to enhance the unique, material aspect of the project. Check out more images of SUI below!
