“The Fourth Dimension” 1988 Zbig Rybczynski this is orginal and that video sucks !

  • to Mat: personal opinions aside, I think it’s unfair to label an artwork by saying it sucks simply because it uses a technique employed by a previous artist. My perception of this work is that the artist clearly was inspired by The Fourth Dimension but wanted to do his own spin on it. in other words he took that inspiration and put it through his own creative thought process which resulted in a work that is almost entirely different in theme, content, and above all, different in its purpose.

basically, what I’m saying is, at least appreciate the creative thought process.
the director definitely deserves credit for that.

That is only my opinion. 🙂

Inflatable Geometric Dome Explores the Transformative Nature of Colour

Pneuhaus1

“Fabric Prism” by art collective Pneuhaus (aka Matt Muller, Augie Lehrecke and Levi Bedall) is an interactive installation made from an inflatable, light-sensitive membrane of their own design. Constructed earlier this month as part of PVDFest 2016 in Providence, Rhode Island, the boldly coloured fabrics on the exterior of the geometric dome translate into more subtle shades inside, depending on the time and brightness of the day. More images below.

DAKU-time-changes-everything-818
