Paintings and murals by Buenos Aires-based artist and architect Francisco Díaz aka Pastel. Noting the way modern cities often foster “non-places” due to irregular or non-inclusive planning, Pastel sees painting as a way of counteracting social gentrification. Similarly, his use of floral imagery ties into ideas of human nature and greater awareness toward our surroundings. See more images below.
