A selection of paintings by British artist Charlotte Keates (previously featured here). Currently based in Guernsey in the Channel Islands, Keates explains: “I want my paintings to feel more like dreamscapes, a sense of deja-vu. They feel familiar yet intangible. The spaces I am painting are inspired by memories and imagination—ideas of spaces once visited.”

The selection shown here includes work from her solo show last month at Arusha Gallery in London entitled, ‘A Constant Hum,’ and some newer paintings which are heading to the Armory Show in New York this September.
