Dinosaurs and Daydreams is a new solo exhibition by contemporary artist and illustrator Billy Murphy, at Gallery 40, Brighton, from 10–15 November 2026. Inspired by becoming a parent, Billy explores childhood nostalgia, adulthood and the importance of holding on to a sense of play. The exhibition brings together more than 80 works, including originals, limited editions and pieces from his debut book You Deserve The Little Treat, alongside a full-scale recreation of a 90s child’s bedroom filled with PlayStations, Lego, Pokémon, Beanie Babies and dinosaurs. Playful, poignant and gloriously silly, the show invites visitors of all ages to reconnect with the wonder of childhood.
