My paintings balance real and imaginary worlds, creating dreamscapes, landscapes, and spiritual states. I depict animals and nature existing in harmonious ecosystems where everything is interconnected. My elaborate environments are difficult to locate or define, yet remain familiar and comforting. The works appear delicate and serene at first, but upon closer inspection, flora and fauna germinate within my landscapes, intermingling and taking on each other’s characteristics to create fantastical, off-kilter environments.
