I am a photographer and visual artist based in Finland. My practice moves between documentary and artistic photography, with a particular interest in people, place, memory and the subtle relationship between the human figure and its surroundings.
Familiar Ground was photographed in my home village during winter and early spring 2026. The series explores how a familiar place can shift through memory, time and repeated looking. Rather than describing the village directly, I focus on quiet details, traces of human presence and moments in which the known becomes slightly uncertain.
