Fire River Tarot

I am a New York–based artist and a graduate of the School of Visual Arts. My practice bridges the meticulous techniques of Old Masters like Albrecht Dürer with my fascination for the occult, literature, and pop culture.

Inspired by childhood favorites from Mother Goose to Edgar Allan Poe, my "Fire River Tarot" series reimagines the Rider–Waite–Smith symbolism through narratives spanning fairy tales and fashion. Featuring an all-female cast, each card stands as a self-contained story. For me, tarot is a mirror for self-reflection and a storytelling engine. My process is a ritual: before each new piece, I draw a card from the evolving deck, letting its meaning guide the imagery. Above all, I want viewers to feel the joy of the story and the resonance of the symbol.
