Art is not to be understood but interpreted. In our day and age, time is something that slips through our hands, even if we are conscious about it or not. Stopping doesn’t seem like an option: there’s always something new to appear on the screen. We can only stop when we look out of it.
Like our frenetic digital lives, these images are absolutely full of information about the past, present and future of a moment in life. They require time to understand what's occurring, just how it required time for them to come together, to put one brick, or a person atop another to create foundation; to write a book and let it sit on a shelve until it's read; to wait until the Sun comes out so we can start the day.
Much like beauty, communication is in the details. Each frame is an argument and opportunity.
