This exhibition seeks to find beauty in everyday scenes which we may often overlook or initially deem unpleasant to the eye. Having grown tired of visiting the usual popular spots and tourist locations, Bertie began exploring off the beaten track to find intrigue and an aesthetic in the unlikeliest places. His series began and was inspired in the industrial town of Newhaven, East Sussex. He then travelled further afield across Europe in his grandfather’s Toyota Yaris to photograph Grot and urban scenes all over the continent seeking to unlock the mysteries hidden in the mundane everywhere! From run over Mcdonalds meals to sinking supermarket trolleys, expect Imagery of the finest grot.
