Bertie Taylor is a photographer, musician and film maker based in Lewes, East Sussex . As a photographer his most well known series to date is ‘Life under the flight path ‘ which was shot at Heathrow Airport. The series has been recognized internationally and featured on the BBC and in Wired magazine in Japan and America.

Aspects of transport are very much a recurring theme in his work.

His unusual photographic eye focuses on seemingly mundane and everyday scenes, finding a startling and surprising beauty in decay and the most unlikely urban places. A self described ‘Technophobe’ he strives to keep his shooting style deceptively simple and does not artificially edit the majority of his work.
