Home, Reassembled – A place to return to (2026)

Home, Reassembled is an ongoing subscription box project exploring how people, objects, rituals and memories shape ideas of home within the South Asian diaspora. Grounded in research, storytelling and empathy, my practice uses design to create connection and make space for stories of identity, belonging and lived experience.
This postage stamp sheet translates everyday domestic experiences — shared meals, conversations, familiar objects and acts of remembrance — into collectible visual fragments. Combining illustration, collage and mixed media, it explores how ordinary moments become vessels for memory and connection across distance. Rather than defining a singular diasporic home, Home, Reassembled explores its contradictions of comfort, grief, connection and absence, revealing how home is continually reassembled through memory.
