My practice investigates the fluctuations between my body and my surroundings. Through installation, sculpture, and textiles, I create reflections of this relationship. My work questions what makes a space feel like a place, surpassing the colonial tradition of landscape representation through individual and romanticized contemplation. The most recent work materializes my personal experience of moving from Colombia to Chicago.
