In my artistic practice, I strive to blur the lines between illustration which is primarily about conveying ideas and art which is an open form of interpretation and expression. I’ve discovered that printmaking and bookmaking are the most effective mediums for achieving this. In an artist book, as an illustrator, I retain the same tools and elements of illustration, but the approach is free from the constraints of specific communication. While storytelling remains a key component, the narrative takes on a non-linear form, allowing viewers to create their own personal interpretation of the artwork.
