In this skin we call a body is my way of seeing, understanding, navigating, and ultimately accepting an eating disorder. Through photography and tactile image manipulation, I explore the tension between self and skin—its shifting boundaries, fragility, and restless search for safety. As today fades into tomorrow, my relationship with my body moves between darkness and light, mirroring the rhythms of mother nature.
The body is not merely a vessel, but a passage between worlds; in the same way, an eating disorder is not solely an individual condition, but a field shaped by visibility, discipline, and control. Through this work, the body becomes an archive of lived experience and a site of resistance. I invite you to sink into this vulnerability and reflect on what it truly means to inhabit a body.
