My artistic practice unfolds through drawing, printmaking, collage, and digital processes, rooted in my Afro-Indigenous ancestry and shaped by experiences of displacement, memory, desire, and territory. I explore the intersections of identity, race, homoeroticism, and the shifting space between waking life and dreams. Moving from my island home in Buenaventura, Colombia, to Buenos Aires transformed my understanding of belonging and territory. In my recent work, homoeroticism becomes a language of desire, vulnerability, care, and bodily sovereignty. Living with HIV also informs my practice, allowing me to reflect on the body, intimacy, healing, and memory beyond medical narratives. Through images, texts, and fragments of everyday life, I transform personal experiences into spaces of presence, dialogue, and possibility.
