My artistic practice unfolds through drawing, printmaking, collage, and digital processes, rooted in my Afro-Indigenous ancestry and shaped by experiences of displacement, memory, desire, and territory. I explore the intersections of identity, race, homoeroticism, and the shifting space between waking life and dreams. Moving from my island home in Buenaventura, Colombia, to Buenos Aires transformed my understanding of belonging and territory. In my recent work, homoeroticism becomes a language of desire, vulnerability, care, and bodily sovereignty. I work with images, texts, and fragments of everyday life to transform personal experiences and ancestral memories into spaces of presence, dialogue, healing, and possibility.
