Christina Ivette Jimenez is a contemporary figurative artist whose work explores identity, memory, and the psychological dimensions of the human experience. Working primarily with charcoal, she creates expressive figures that emerge, dissolve, and reassemble through fragmentation, distortion, and gestural mark-making.
Her practice is rooted in the relationship between the body and the inner self, exploring how emotions and lived experiences shape our sense of identity. Recently, she has been expanding her practice through acrylic and oil painting, exploring new possibilities in color, texture, and material.
Through her work, Jimenez seeks to make the invisible visible, creating space for viewers to connect with the complexities of their own inner lives.
