This work is linked to the idea of escape, the fruit of a decade of studio experimentation with the cyanotype technique. Over the years, I sought to reproduce prints that technically exhibited “flaws” and which, without quite realizing it, mirrored my own unstable and “flawed” state as someone living in a place where I had no rights. These works circulated within the studio, concealing from my gaze something mysterious and unreachable. There I took refuge and began to search for something. Places where I longed to be revealed themselves to me, landscapes I wished to inhabit, to pass through, to escape into.
