Shaun Kardinal is a visual artist interested in the interconnectedness of all things.
Born in central California and rooted for many years in Seattle, there he immersed himself in the arts community as an exhibiting artist, gallery member, curator, graphic designer and web developer for many arts organizations.

His studio practice has primarily employed postcards and other ephemera, destroyed and refortified with embroidery and weaving to reveal new forms, enacting something larger than the materials.

His practice continues in Philadelphia, where he now resides. His work has been exhibited internationally, widely published, and collected extensively, and is represented by J. Rinehart Gallery in Seattle and Paradigm Gallery in Philadelphia.
