Shaun Kardinal is a visual artist interested in the interconnectedness of all things.

Born in central California, Shaun rooted for many years in Seattle, where he immersed himself in the arts community as an exhibiting artist, gallery member, curator, graphic designer, and web developer for many arts organizations. His practice continues in Philadelphia, where he now resides.

His studio practice has primarily employed postcards and other ephemera, destroyed and refortified with embroidery and weaving to reveal new forms, enacting something larger than the materials.
 
His work has been exhibited internationally, widely published, and collected extensively. He is represented by J. Rinehart Gallery in Seattle and Paradigm Gallery in Philadelphia.
