Submission Drawing

One Sketchbook per Month (2026)

In January 2026 I bought a small sketchbook at the Naturhistorisches Museum in Vienna and decided to fill one every month for a year, never the same format twice. Ten books are finished (822 pages in all), the eleventh is in progress.

Every line goes straight down in pen: no pencil underneath, no eraser. If a line goes wrong, the drawing has to find a way around it. The pages hold museum studies, comic strips, robots, samurai and people in the parks of Paris. In early 2027 the best pages will become an artbook.
