Parade is a project born from the nostalgia to early 2000s video games, given form through the lens of more modern and personalized interests and stylistic choices, striving for a "homage", not a copy of core memories. The work takes shape as hand-sculpted figurines, drawing on the aesthetic of that era — the saturated colors, glossy finishes, and exaggerated, slightly uncanny character design that sat somewhere between cute and unsettling. These visual choices are reinterpreted rather than reproduced, filtered through a personal design language that leans into the surreal, the playful, and the grotesque, treating the look and feel of those games as a starting point.
