I'm Or Menaged, an illustrator, designer, and art-toy maker. My work turns folklore, mythology, and the grotesque into characters and worlds you can step inside. I spent my early years in Africa, and a love of nature and animal life still runs through everything I make. My practice moves across print and typography, narrative illustration, character design, art toys, and self-published zines and graphic novels — always in service of a strong story. I studied at Shenkar College of Engineering, Design and Art and the Illustration Academy's Visual Arts Passage under Sterling Hundley, John English, and Audrey Benjaminsen. I've been honored twice by 3×3 Magazine, named a Guy Peres "Olamot" scholar, and showed my first solo exhibition, Creatio Ex Nihilo, in 2025.
