For her, making portraits is an intimate process. She seeks to understand the circumstances in which her subjects find themselves, the images they hold of themselves, and the directions in which they hope to move.
To understand one another and create a one-of-a-kind work of art. Perhaps this is nothing more than a dream.
Her journey into portrait photography began quite naturally. There were people around her who needed portraits. It was never part of a particular plan; through her connections with others, she gradually and naturally became a portrait photographer.
Photography is not simply an act of documenting another person. What she seeks to capture is the beauty of the physical form and the unique energy each subject carries. She seeks to preserve, in a photograph, something of what each being radiates.
