Pray 4 u is a photographic installation in which I document the slow transformation of areas bordering the river in my rapidly gentrifying childhood neighbourhood, where I encounter a multitude of lifeforms, including lifeless ones. The title comes from an anonymous prayer I found inscribed on the corner of a wall inside an abandoned property, during one of my ritual stroll along the river. It is with this hastily scrawled tag, a reminder left on an off-section of wall, like a note in the margins, a footnote or a postscript marking the end of a letter, that I introduce my work. The installation is like a prayer, an eulogy or elegy to the river and the land, an expression of my devotional, reverential attachment to this place and her inhabitants. / Instagram: @millefoisbleu
