Requiem for a Vanishing Ocean

This dance video is an improvised exercise between 3 contemporary dancers of the National Institute of Fine Arts in Mexico, José Corral, Fernanda González and Alfredo Tame, and a young filmmaker & composer, Amaury Barrera, that tried to explore one simple idea:

“nothing is permanent, nothing lasts, nothing remains

everything vanishes at some point in a deep ocean

and we can’t do anything but to assume it

embrace the finitude of things, their natural nostalgia.”
