My works are often inspired by movies, music, books, other pieces of art, but also by commercials and phenomena of the information society and the consumer society in general. They tend to create a feeling of deja vu, but then break it with an unexpected twist. I also try to gently remove the borderline between the common, familiar, usual and the mystical. I often work with iconic images or mere stereotypes, cause I think that together they form a certain iconography suitable for the art and communication of the present.
