Kate Alyse Clark creates symbols to narrate the diverse experience of wild in the Pacific Northwest. A variety of paint applications are explored until a balance is found to mirror the feeling of a landscape. The need to communicate natural occurrences similar to the taste of fog or layers of low tide have inspired Kate to create a language all her own.
