My practice centers on figurative drawing, painting, and colored photography, using colored pencil, oil, airbrush, and pastel to create intimate images poised between beauty and the uncanny. Many works begin with fragments from recurrent nightmares, where bodies, domestic objects, religious symbols, natural forms, and cinematic references merge into a personal mythology. Rather than illustrating dreams, I seek to recover their atmosphere: recognition, unease, suspension, and uncertainty. Across the work runs a concern with time, aging, decay, transformation, and death, alongside spirituality and ritual as ways of approaching what lies beyond the visible.
