Alireza Zahiri holds a Master's degree in Carpet Design and works as a specialist in the design, weaving, and conservation of Persian carpets. His research focuses on the design principles of the carpets produced during the Safavid period, with particular attention to geometric systems and their application to carpets. Alongside his professional practice, he teaches specialist courses in Persian carpet design and weaving and is also an artist whose work draws on the traditions of Iranian ornamental forms.
