My work explores identity, memory, power, and the systems that shape how we understand ourselves and the world. Working across painting, sculpture, installation, illustration, and digital media, I draw from personal experiences, African heritage, popular culture, and everyday objects to question what we consider normal, valuable, or true. My work often transforms familiar symbols and materials into new contexts, revealing the histories and structures embedded within them. Through experimentation, research, and collaboration, I explore alternative ways of seeing and understanding our realities. Ultimately, I am interested in making the familiar unfamiliar, encouraging viewers to question their assumptions and reconsider the world around them.
