Brian Kaiser is an editorial photographer based in Columbus, Ohio. His work explores American culture through the lives of its eccentric sub cultures. His photos have documented pandemic protesters, Renaissance festivals, demolition derby drivers, cosplayers, dog show competitors, drag racers, and semi-pro wrestlers. His sometimes humorous, always energetic visual style highlights the passions, idiosyncrasies, and humanity of his subjects and in the process, shows the viewer that people are indeed, strange – and wild, and weird, and usually, wonderful.
