I am a very obsessive person. A perfectionist. A black and white thinker. An extremist. I take these compulsory drives and pour them into my artwork. I draw with technical pens for precise and defined lines with no variation in stroke- what architects use. I conjure stencils for perfect circles and a dozen types of compasses. Five different rulers and T-squares and protractors to measure angles. I use gouache and ink for flat, opaque blocks of color. These are my obsessions and I create art and expression through my fingertips.
