Ål Nik is an illustrator and visual practitioner based in Europe. She is mainly working on editorial illustrations, visual facilitation and communication design. As a visual artist, she loves exploring different mixes of mediums and the possibilities of digital illustration. Working and living between Bulgaria and France, she is part of "Nomadways" (France), a collective that designs kick-ass artistic educational workshops and a contributor at the creative journalism collective "Brush & Bow" (the United Kingdom). She had studied History of art and Theory and methodology of art education at the National Art Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria. As a visual practitioner and illustrator she is particularly interested in visual and digital arts, urban environment, cultural changes of the places and social challenges.
