Geraldo Malaval (he/him, b.1994) is a visual artist and filmmaker from Abidjan and based in Los Angeles. He works with photography and filmmaking to explore the mundane and find beauty within everyday aspects of daily life. He’s produced work across the US, France, and Côte d'Ivoire, with art that spans documentary, commercial work, fashion, and beauty. His work has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Vogue Italia, and others and his film work has received notable acclaim in festivals such as the Swiff Film Festival and 100 Seconds International Fest. He’s currently working on documenting the daily life of Abidjan and its people.
