Isaac de Honoret works behind a mask. His face stays out of view, and so does the secret behind his materials and his process.
What he shows instead are wall reliefs that refuse to settle as painting or sculpture: angular facets, colliding plates, fields of raised cells, usually held to a single hue. Each piece carries its own shadows. Step to one side, or let the light move, and the piece changes.
He is French and based in Provence. His latest works span three collections: Les Connectés, Les Armures and Les Convergences. In 2026 he returned to public view at One Monte-Carlo in Monaco, then at New Art Lourmarin, where Synapse, the first piece from Les Convergences, was unveiled. His work is held in private collections in Europe and North America.
The face stays hidden. The work doesn't.
