Charly Saldaña is a documentary photographer who reveals identity in its rawest, most beautiful and authentic form. His lens rests where others don't look: in everyday gestures, cultural roots, and real human bonds. He combines documentary sensitivity with aesthetic force to capture who we are, beyond the obvious.

Spain-born and Ghent-based, in 2025 he completed his first project Gipsy Horses — a project that affirms chosen identity as a universal act, through images of a cowboy community in Flanders, Belgium, built not on heritage but on personal conviction. After nine months living alongside them, the work asks a question that reaches far beyond the ranch: how do we define ourselves in a world shaped by displacement and the possibility of reinvention. He is currently in post-production for the project's final release.
