Mengmei Pan is a photographer and filmmaker. She was born in Taizhou, Zhejiang, China, in 1993. She earned a Bachelor of Engineering at Zhejiang Normal University in 2015. In 2014, she attended the Academic Exchange Program and studied in Temple University, Philadelphia for a year, with the full scholarship offered by CSC (China Scholarship Council) and ZJNU (Zhejiang Normal University). She graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art in 2018 and achieved an MFA in Photographic & Electronic Media. She is now living and working in New York City. Her work has been showing internationally, including Millepiani Gallery, Rome; Greenpoint Gallery, New York City; Sheila & Richard Riggs Gallery, Baltimore; 2019 SPE Media Festival, Cleveland.
