Oranous Afsharian (b. 1995, Tehran) is an Iranian contemporary artist living and working between Qatar and Germany. Her research-based practice explores media, collective memory, and visual culture through painting, monoprint, collage, and installation.

Drawing on newspapers, photographs, advertisements, and urban surfaces, she collects and constructs visual archives, examining the relationship between reality, representation, and memory. Through layering, fragmentation, erasure, and reconstruction, she transforms these materials into new visual narratives.

Her work has been exhibited in Iran, Germany, Qatar, the United States, and Azerbaijan. She is a member of Liwan Design Studios and Labs in Doha.
