My name is Claire Picheyre, I am 32 years old and I am a photographer. I have been a self-taught photographer since the age of 16 and studied cinema, artistic direction of cultural projects and documentary photography.
My passion for photography was born out of a need to fight against forgetting, to keep a record, in response to my grandmother's Alzheimer's disease, my namesake. From this instinctive gesture was born a language in its own right, combining emotion and aesthetic research.
I have a simple but essential ambition: to continue creating. I have yet to find anything more fulfilling than making images and offering them to others in the hope that they will awaken an emotion, a memory, a breath of fresh air.
