Tommy Lei is an Asian American lens-based visual artist based in Los Angeles, working across photography, documentary, and audiovisual installation. His practice traces the tensions between stillness and presence, diasporic memory and belonging — attending to the dignity of what the world tends to overlook. His work is held in private collections across four countries, with commissions by JPMorgan Chase, the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture, and the City of Seattle.
